Super All-Wheel Control

The Eclipse Cross continues Mitsubishi’s heritage of all-wheel-drive with a new version of Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC). Available S-AWC integrates the electronically controlled 4WD system, Active Stability Control (ASC), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Active Yaw Control (AYC), and an advanced sensor monitoring system for stable and responsive handling in almost all road conditions. In various types of weather, including rain, snow, and gravel, the Eclipse Cross offers improved traction for driving confidence wherever you go.

1.5 L Direct Injection Turbo Engine

The 1.5L direct-injection turbo engine offers an impressive 184lb–ft torque giving you that “off the line” feeling. Coupled with the standard CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with 8-speed Sport Mode, the Eclipse Cross boasts responsive and quick acceleration.

Stable and Responsive Handling

The body of the Eclipse Cross has been strengthened for driving comfort, responsive handling, and collision safety. The front and rear suspension have also been optimally tuned for a smooth, higher-quality ride, so you can feel confident every time you’re behind the wheel.

Multi-view Camera System

This available feature displays what’s seen by cameras mounted on the front, rear and sides of the vehicle. Views from these multiple angles —including a bird’s-eye view —can be shown in various combinations on the Eclipse Cross’s touchscreen to help you park or back up more safely.

Adaptive Cruise Control

The available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system uses radar technology to judge distances between you and the vehicle ahead, helping you maintain a safe driving distance. If the car moves out of your lane or goes beyond your set speed, the system will resume your set speed.

Fog Lights and LED Day Time Running Lights

When it snows or rains, the standard fog lights beam through to help you get a clearer view of the road ahead. Stand out even more with LED day time running lights that give you distinct style and increased visibility.

Forward Collision Mitigation

The Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) system utilizes both laser radar and camera technology to determine if a frontal collision with a vehicle or pedestrian is imminent. If so, it warns the driver with audible and visual signals, and automatically applies moderate to emergency braking to help reduce the severity of the collision and, if possible, prevent the collision.

Blind Spot Warning and Lane Change Assist

Together, the available Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Lane Change Assist (LCA) systems alert you when a vehicle is in or approaching your blind spot. When a vehicle in the next lane is traveling at the same speed or faster in the detection areas, a warning light will illuminate in the corresponding side mirror. If your turn signal is on, the warning light on the corresponding mirror will blink and the system will beep three times to alert you that it is unsafe to change lanes.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

The available Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) system detects a vehicle approaching from either side while you’re backing up. The warning lights on both side mirrors will blink, a buzzer will sound to alert you, and a warning message will appear on the information screen of the multi-information color display.

Rain-sensing Wipers

Keep your hands on the wheel during inclement weather with the available rain-sensing windshield wipers. Activating at the first drop of rain, the wipers adjust to match the frequency of rainfall so you can continue to focus on what’s ahead.

Lane Departure Warning

The available Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system uses an onboard camera to monitor lane position in front of the vehicle and alert the driver audibly and visually if it detects the vehicle leaving its lane unintentionally.

RISE Body Construction

Mitsubishi’s advanced Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body utilizes crumple zones that help route and absorb energy during high-impact collisions. Strategic reinforcements at key body points complement its side-impact door beams, giving your Eclipse Cross a stable, secure base that’s worth its weight in safety.

Auto High Beam Headlights

Available Automatic High Beam Headlights(AHB) detect vehicles ahead and will do the work for you by automatically switching between high beams and low beams.
